Little strokes fell great oaks. –Benjamin Franklin

KodingWorks adheres to a philosophy of small, but continuous improvement. Instead of trying to make radical changes in a short period of time, just make small daily improvements that will gradually lead to the changes you want.

Every day, just focus on getting 1% better at whatever it is you’re trying to improve. There he is. Only 1%.

It may not seem like much, but those 1% increases are starting to complement each other. At first, your improvements will be so small that they are practically non-existent. But gradually and very slowly, you will start to see improvement in your life. This may take months or even years, but the improvements will come if you just focus on improving your game consistently by 1%.

You will eventually reach a certain point with your personal development where a 1% increase in improvement equals the same amount of improvement you experienced in the first few days combined. It’s a little hard to take your mind off, because of the math. But think about it: 1% of 1 is only 0.01; 1% of 100 is 1. You are probably in position 1 right now, and will only make minor improvements for the time being. But stick with it. You will eventually reach level 100 (and beyond) where you will increase by a factor of 1 every day.
